The chapel, also known as the Denisekrüske, stands in a prominent spot along the Voerenberg and faces south. The whitewashed building with its semicircular niche is a typical example of the many roadside and field chapels found in the Voer region. Originally built as an expression of personal devotion and village identity, it became a landmark for hikers and residents. Over the years, the chapel has been restored several times, including in 1960 and recently in 2018, thus preserving its place in the landscape and local tradition.
