The Tailor's Tower (Turnul Croitorilor) impresses with its simple, solid construction. It was built in the 14th century. Like the Clock Tower, it is a gate tower, more precisely the outer gate of the western entrance to the castle. The Tailor's Tower has two entrances with oak gates with iron grilles. During the great fire of 1676, the gunpowder stored here exploded and destroyed a large part of the tower. After the fire, the tower was restored and used as a warehouse until 1935, after which it was returned to its original appearance.
