The "Landsarkivet Fyn Odense" is now known as the "Rigsarkivet, Odense." It is one of the five regional departments of the Danish National Archives (Rigsarkivet).
It collects and preserves archival materials from local government authorities on Funen and the surrounding islands, as well as from private individuals, estates, and associations.
The original buildings, dating from 1893, are listed as historical monuments. In 1995, a new building section with a modern reading room and self-service stacks was opened.
It is located at Jernbanegade 36, 5000 Odense C, Denmark.
