Hiking
The church and the parsonage were built in 1911-12. The design by Raabe & Wöhlecke
was selected by a competition jury under the chairmanship of Fritz Schumacher.
The brick building with lattice windows, high tiled roof, copper spire,
as well as barrel vaults, wooden galleries, neo-baroque altar and pulpit inside
is reminiscent of Hamburg village churches and thus follows the "homeland style".
Carl Bensel designed the community center at Seestrasse 1, which was added in 1938-39.
