Hiking
The growth of the port and increased freight traffic at the beginning of the 20th century necessitated the construction of a new, larger customs house. Royal building inspector and architect Hack Kampmann, who built a total of 10 customs houses in North Jutland, also designed this well-proportioned building, adorned with a magnificent portal. It dates from 1915 but skillfully incorporates stylistic elements from earlier centuries.
