Hiking
The Emaus cemetery was established in 1829 on the site of an orchard. The buildings, which acquired their current appearance in 2014, served as a coach house (left), a gravedigger's house (right), a waiting room, and a toll gatekeeper's house (due to the toll gate on the border between Vlaardingen and Vlaardinger-Ambacht). The four Vlaardingen tolls were abandoned on New Year's Eve 1930. The complex was designated a municipal monument in 2017.
