Mountain Biking Highlight (Segment)
The steep demolition into the Main valley promises a great panoramic view and is geological and botanical view worth seeing. The old blast holes in the back part, which were created after World War II (extermination of old weapons, etc.), should be looked at, but beware at this point near the slope is a common rock level which has already biker almost the vertical abbreviation into the valley.

Distant view of the Main valley, Kulmbach and the Frankenwald in the north. Worthwhile alternative to the Staffelberg. The plateau of the Grauer Angers was used after the end of the 2nd WW as a blast site for excess ammunition. You can still see craters from that time there.

Here at this point two children died after World War II after they found ammunition in the nearby blast holes. The Allies used the Görauer Anger to destroy bombs, grenades and ammunition that were no longer needed. The recognizable blast holes around 100m away from this place are clear relics.
Probably a place to think about the meaning and necessity of weapons and wars.
