After the railway line was built in the Vorbach Valley in 1869, Vorbachzimmern received the necessary railway underpass.
This was necessary to reach the fields towards Pfizingen.
Since people didn't have the necessary means of transport in the past, they walked to places like Pfitzingen or Elpersheim to find their life partner.
This is how my great-grandmother came from Elpersheim to Vorbachzimmern.
