The Steinhorst manor house was originally the manor house of the noble court of the same name and later the administrative headquarters.

Due to this dual function, it mostly only served as an office building; as the manor house of the Steinhorst estate, it was only inhabited for one generation in the 18th century.

Steinhorst is considered one of the most important baroque buildings in the state of Schleswig-Holstein. It is currently privately owned and is located on Von Wedderkopstraße (K 42) in Steinhorst.
