This small but noteworthy church is located above the Kingsgate Passage. The entrance is to the right of the passages on the St. Swithun Street side.

Unique Location: The church is perched directly atop Kingsgate, one of the two surviving medieval city gates in Winchester (the other being Westgate).

Architecture and Style: It is a small, simple Church of England church, mostly in the Early English style. The main gateway structure is medieval (14th century), and the church above is recorded as existing in the 13th century, with subsequent rebuilds and restorations. It is a Grade I Listed Building.
