A lovely walk of about 5.5 m / 9km: some uneven paths and a few climbs; only a few short stretches on quiet lanes, the rest tracks or routes across fields. Mud would be a consideration in winter.

Route starts and ends with walk across open fields - so dress appropriately for sun, wind or rain . Middle section is in woodland so with some shelter. The route gets wet and very muddy in winter or wet weather .
