This historic building housed the "Pod jodłowym jeleniem" (Under the Fir Deer) inn from 1852 to 1894, which was later demolished and replaced with a modern hotel that opened on May 19, 1900.

The property changed hands multiple times throughout the 20th century, serving various purposes including a hotel, residential apartments, offices, and several restaurants and cafes. In recent decades, the building housed banks.
