Hiking

The "Zum Malzhaus" inn was the oldest of the three inns in Böhmisch Reizenhain. It was first mentioned in 1589. At that time, Hans Christoff Goldammer had purchased the Freigut in Reizenhain, which already included a flour and sawmill as well as an inn, with the privilege of brewing its own beer. Since the Freigut owner had to provide and harness the draft animals for the transport, many travelers stopped here. The last owners before the expulsion were Franz Hess and his wife Miez. At Whitsun 1955, the remaining remains of the "Zum Malzhaus" inn were completely destroyed.
