The sculpture was created by artist Erwin Kastner from Haag.
It was initiated by the region's Lions Clubs to mark the 100th anniversary of Lions International. The globe, forged from steel and 160 centimeters in diameter, features three symbols: the "Hand of God" (Father), the "Angel Figure" (Son), and the "Dove" (Holy Spirit), made of steel and glass. It stands on a limestone base, thus "lifting it into the sky."
