The word "Echo" can be read in the photos of the dam. However, the word only becomes apparent through the reflection of the water. This is a 137-meter-wide and 6.50-meter-high art installation commissioned by REGIONALE 2025 by the internationally renowned artist collective Boa Mistura from Madrid, in close cooperation with the Aggerverband (Agger Association) and the Ratingen-based company "Proud to Print." It was officially opened on July 7, 2025, in the presence of around 50 guests from politics, administration, and the community.
