A historic pub on the banks of the river, the Anchor Pub is a cozy place to stop for a rest. The pub serves a full menu including famous putcher pies as well as traditional ales.
In summer, the sunny garden opens and locals play boules. Bear in mind that children are not allowed in the bar area.
The Achor is open from 11.30am - 2.30pm and 6pm - 10.30pm Monday - Thursday, 11.30am -11pm Friday and Saturday and Sunday 12pm - 10pm.
