The KinderBoekenHuis in Winsum houses one of the largest collections of Dutch-language children's and youth books. A unique collection with more than 30,000 old children's books from the period 1770 to the present.
The KinderBoekenHuis combines a museum, a library, a study area, a second-hand bookshop and a meeting place. Courses and workshops are also organised.
Enthusiastic volunteers support our activities. They are happy to tell you about the special collections and gems from the collection.
