Hoheneck Castle is picturesquely situated on a hill above the village of Ipsheim in the Aish valley. The facility was first mentioned in 1132 and since 1984 it has been home to the youth training center of the Nuremberg City Youth Circle. The castle courtyard is particularly beautiful with the trees and vine plants and the view from the castle is also impressive.

Hoheneck Castle is located in the middle of vineyards high above the beautiful Ipsheim im Aischgrund. The castle had an eventful history. Hoheneck Castle has been the youth education center of the Kreisjugendring Nürnberg-Stadt of the Bavarian Youth Ring, KdöR, since April 1984. It is part of the network of youth education centers in Bavaria.
The castle is picturesquely situated above the village Ipsheim in Aischtal, about 50 km northwest of Nuremberg.
