More varied and certainly less monotonous than the segments of the lower valley, it is an almost flat stretch with some not very demanding ups and downs near Castello Dell’Acqua-San Giacomo.
At the height of Poggiridenti, towards Bormio, the route moves to the southern bank of the Adda river becoming more interesting and crossing leafy and shady stretches in the woods and various suburbs/districts with glimpses that capture the attention and highlight the traditionally rural culture of the area.
Suitable for everyone and all bikes.
