First by ferry to Limone Sul Garda. From Limone, we quickly headed out and continued along the road. After the first tunnel, we should have turned off. We missed this turn-off and then continued through the many tunnels 🙈.

From Bundenthal to Bad Bergzabern, we went through the Pfälzerwald on different surfaces. Asphalt, gravel, single trails, everything was there.
From Bad Bergzabern, we rode through the Pfälzerwald vineyards.
The route went up and down all day, so in the end we had 53 km and 820 m of elevation gain.

To finish, we went from Ibbenbüren to Hörstel. Right at the beginning was the only climb for today, but it was a tough one. Then we continued on forest paths. We had to go down a steep ramp to the canal. Further along the canal and then towards Hörstel station.
