Burgruine Anebos

From here you have one of the most beautiful views of the opposite Trifels. In addition, climbing beginners who want to climb a short pleasure wall or climb around the rock sometimes cavort here.

As part of the Trifels Group, it probably served to protect the Trifels, but was abandoned in the 13th century.

For a long time I could not have imagined that this rock was once a castle. You just have to go and see the whole of the beamholes and parts of living spaces cut out of the rock. For me, this ruin actually looked more like impressive rock formations - the remains of the castle are only minimal - by editing the rock, you can here and there still easily recognize.

The castle ruins of Anebos are located on the great red sandstone path. The nature trail provides information about the red sandstone layers in the Palatinate Forest and the geological features around Trifels, Anebos and Münz. Great photos can be taken from the Anebos in the direction of Trifels!
