This chapel was built in 1968, dedicated to the Virgin of the Poor, entirely with donations and is just one stop on the pilgrimage to Banneux.
Banneux is a small town in the municipality of Sprimont on the Ardennes plateau.
A Beco family lived in poverty in Banneux. From January 15 to March 2, 1933, the Mother of God is said to have appeared to their twelve-year-old daughter eight times, and she referred to herself as the "Virgin of the Poor."
