In the center of town, between the Baltic Sea beach and the spa promenade, the new spa park welcomes locals and visitors alike. The former rose garden, which attracts visitors year-round with its many vibrantly colored flowerbeds, is the starting point of the popular shopping mile. As an event venue, the park caters to the diverse needs of its guests at any time of year: In the listed Trinkkurhalle (drinking spa hall), dating from 1950, a gallery invites visitors to view changing exhibitions, while the adjacent rotunda hosts concerts, performances, and readings.
