The "old distillery" is visible from afar and adorned by a stork's nest in the former Ribbeck estate. It was built around 1850. The von Ribbeck family, who have lived in town since 1237, made the historic building the focus of their activities in 2006. The renovation turned the distillery into a vinegar factory and an event location for up to 70 people (with external catering).
This is where the family primarily produces their delicate pear vinegar. Fine brandies that are distilled in Alsace according to Ribbeck's specifications are also sold here. On request, the von Ribbeck family also enables you to get to know each other personally and to taste your vinegar specialties.
