Püttenbollen is the name of a nature reserve in the Lower Saxony town of Weener in the Leer district.

The nature reserve with the NSG WE 114 mark is 11.8 hectares in size. It lies between the Holthusen district of the city of Weener and the Leer – Groningen railway line. The protected area includes a small bog complex, in which bog and raised bog can be found, which is surrounded by wet grassland. The grassland can be used as pasture outside of a core zone. The area is drained into the Ems via Dwarstief and Buschfelder Sieltief or Geiseschloot and Ferstenborgumer Tief or Großsoltborger Sieltief.

The area has been protected since November 2, 1969. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the administrative district of Leer

The 12-hectare conservation area comprises a small peat complex surrounded by wet grassland with various plant communities arranged in a ring, from peat bogs to raised bogs.

The district of Leer is responsible as the lower nature conservation authority.

A really beautiful and rural section of the route. Good way to drive.
