A little north of Bunde we find an imposing, solitary house that stands out from the surroundings at first glance. After a short information, it turns out to be an old chieftain's seat in East Frisia and is also one of the oldest castles in East Frisia, with a typical Baroque extension from the early 18th century on its west side.
