Imposing waterfall beautifully situated. Good footwear is really recommended here.

  • The way to the waterfall is not that easy, depending on the weather it's pretty muddy. In any case, good footwear is required. Just above the waterfall is an automatic traffic lock, which opens again and again. So you have even with little water in the stream the chance to see the waterfall in all its splendor.

  • In order to be able to see the waterfall beautifully, someone has to open the slide at the top, but at the moment it is stuck and you have to pull it up by hand, then the people below the waterfall have a nice experience.

  • The stream winds a good 2km between the front and rear waterfalls. The stream has to be crossed several times.
The way is quite tough. Hiking shoes, good pedaling and a portion of fitness are required. You are compensated by a magnificent nature.

  • If you walk the Hörschbachach Gorge from Sechselberg, it is really exciting when you descend to the Upper Waterfall. It's really wildly romantic and just beautiful. Often you have to find your own way over hill and dale. It has a few bridges, but there are still enough stream crossings left. It is really essential to wear good shoes, you should also be sure-footed. Then nothing stands in the way of a wonderful hike in a fantastic wild landscape

  • In winter, when there is ice, you should have appropriate equipment and a minimum level of fitness and surefootedness, otherwise it can quickly become dangerous.

  • A cool place in summer, should be visited in off-peak times, often overcrowded. Be sure to open the hatch once the pool is full and take a few steps down for a great view of the water pouring down. The approach from the front waterfall through the gorge is spectacular, but only with good physical condition and good shoes!

  • The rear waterfall consists of two waterfalls. At the rearmost waterfall, you can regulate the amount of water yourself with the help of a dam via the dam above. It's not just fun for young children.
