The "Goldener Becher" inn was first mentioned in the 16th century as being owned by the then mayor's family. In 1713, it was already the inn "Zum goldenen Becher".
In the 19th century, the building housed the synagogue or a prayer room for the Rottweil Jews, as well as a bank.
Since 1928, the house was again a restaurant, which existed until 2023.
Particularly beautiful is the wooden bay window with its cheerful figures, which do not seem to be averse to wine.
