Hiking
The Götz Cave is Europe's largest accessible crevasse cave. It is one of the top sights in Meiningen. A guided tour through the cave takes about 40 minutes. You should be prepared for a temperature of 8 degrees Celsius and slippery ground. But the visit is definitely worth it!
Afterwards, it is definitely recommended to stop off at the "Zur Column" hut and enjoy the view over the city of Meiningen in addition to food and drink.
