The viewing platform in the Eriskircher Ried offers a wide view over the nature reserve and Lake Constance. From here you can observe water birds in the shallow water areas, including herons and coots. The reeds spread out in dense stands and serve as a habitat for many animal species. On clear days the Alps can be seen in the distance.
