The Tobelweg begins a few meters from the Säge parking lot. First it goes over a bridge on the road towards the village. After a short climb, at the first house on the left, turn left towards the entrance. After a few meters you will find the entrance to Ostertobel on the left.

The Tobelweg is only accessible in the snow-free months and is not cleared in winter.
The path now leads almost entirely through the forest. Always along the stream it goes gently up and down into the ravine. The path rises and falls steadily. Sometimes you can see the stream from above, then you walk right by its side again. Waterfalls, bridges and footbridges make the route varied.

You pass foaming waterfalls, small eddies and deep pools. Here, adults also like to become children again and immortalize themselves with cairns and other stone sculptures. In the shade of the trees you can always walk along the shore and enjoy the rush of the water.

A very nice ravine trail along the Ostertalbach. First, the path begins flat in the forest, if you choose the entrance from the parking lot 'Säge'. It leads slowly uphill over well-designed climbs.
There are small bridges and footbridges that are well developed. At the second larger waterfall, the path becomes steeper for a short distance.
The path is suitable for smaller children if they are supported on the steeper parts.
The path is also suitable for infants in backpacks or slings if the porters are sure-footed and wear sturdy shoes.
I would choose the path uphill through the Tobelweg with children, because I think it is easier for the little ones to walk uphill on somewhat bumpier paths.
Back to the car park, it goes past Buhls Alpe on a paved forest path.

The Tobelweg is not suitable for prams.
