Hohwacht's beach, over 2 km long, is located on Hohwacht Bay, east of Kiel. The diverse beach consists of cliffs and light sand. There are also two sections for four-legged friends.
Hohwacht is a former fishing village, and you can see that this charm has remained. You can discover and admire many small fishermen's cottages from that time.
The unusual "Flunder" sea platform offers a beautiful view of the sea.
On the cliffs in the western part, there is another viewing platform, "Kiek ut," from which you can enjoy a fantastic view of Hohwacht Bay.
