Challenging mountain hike. Navigation difficult (even with Komoot) - I got lost several times. Supposed paths repeatedly end in nowhere.
On the way there was a vertical descent, secured with an old chain.
Later, as no path could be made out, I scrambled along the ridge in sections. 🫣

It is advisable to park at the El Chorro exit. From the parking lot at the reservoir, a path leads up to the shuttle bus station, from where the bus starts to the entrance of the Caminito (2 stations, €2.50, supposedly every half hour), so you don't have to walk the winding road.
