The monumental porcelain sculptures from the One Million series, numbers 3501 and 3502, by Austrian artist Uli Aigner, pay homage to the region's industrial history. In the 17th century, cobalt was mined in Lößnitz, which later enabled the production of Meissen porcelain. The works of art thus create a connection between past and present. Uli Aigner was born in Austria in 1965 and now lives in Berlin.
