Once you've crested the top of Conic Hill you're rewarded with this magnificent view of Loch Lomond and the mountains beyond. Of course, if it's raining you'll not see any of this, but you can gain comfort from the fact that the view is there regardless, just hidden behind lots (and lots) of cloud.

An incredible place to take a pic of you and your friends with the Loch Lomond in the background.

Whilst the ride up until this point is straightforward and not too challenging, Conic Hill is a beast to climb, particularly if you are carrying all your camping gear. From the base of the hill we spent perhaps 70-80% of the time pushing the bikes up, which took us roughly 45mins to make it to the top.

For perspective, we were a group of fairly new bikepackers with varying quality of bikes and the weather was wet making parts of the ascent slippy at times. Overall it was pretty hard but manageable.

Once at the top, the views were amazing 👌
