    Hiking

The Wiese River originates at an altitude of approximately 1218 meters in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park, below the mountain pass.

It flows through the Wiesental valley and, near Maulburg, joins its sister river, the "Kleine Wiese" (Little Wiese), before emptying into the Rhine River after about 58 kilometers between Weil am Rhein and Basel.

    Hiking

From the pass of the B317 at Feldberg springs the meadow. There also starts the waterfall path. From there you walk quite steeply at numerous cascades in the direction of the Fahler waterfall, which then leads to Todtnauer waterfall. You can not miss it.
