The 1,450 meter high Seebuck is the secondary summit of the Feldberg. Up here is a former radio tower of the Southwest Broadcasting, which is now used as a lookout tower. Admission costs three euros. If you've taken the lift up the mountain, you can go to the platform for free. And the visit is worthwhile. The additional meters allow you a breathtaking panoramic view of the Black Forest and its mountains.

Until 2003 the tower was a television tower and belonged to the SWR. After the new tower was put into operation, the tower here was to be demolished. The Feldberg community bought it and renovated it. Since then it has been a lookout tower. If the weather is suitable, it also has a beautiful view of the Alps. A 10 meter long photo shows you what you can see.
The top platform is also a branch of the registry office. You can get married there! The cable car has a special wedding gondola for this purpose. Pay attention, it's the only red gondola.
Mr. Wehrle is currently exhibiting his photos here. These show portraits of models in original traditional costumes from the area. I like that very much. Unfortunately, the artist is so well known that a photo on canvas (70x50 cm) costs € 550. Two years ago that was probably a maximum of 45 €.
The ham museum is on the first floor. In my opinion, only the video with an interview with an elderly lady who made and smoked Black Forest ham herself is worthwhile. Just like every farm in the area used to be.
To the left of the tower there is also a "real power bank": a bank with solar modules on the seat and USB connections for charging e.g. your smartphone.
Entry without discount currently 6 €. You have to take the elevator up and walk down the stairs. Keyword "Corona".
