The 585 meter high Kapellbuck is the location of Hechlingen's landmark - the ruins of the St. Katharinen Chapel. The chapel was built in the first half of the 15th century. When a renovation planned in 1715 failed, the old church began to decay. In 1880, the tower fell victim to a storm.The ruins have been a listed building since 1903.
