The Hahnenkammsee is the oldest of the "artificial recreational lakes" in the Franconian Lake District - but a day in and on the lake still keeps you young in a wonderful way.

The gentle hills of the Hahnenkamm take the lake around 500 meters south of Hechlingen am See in their midst. Peace, relaxation and tranquility are one side of the lake, the other side is lively in summer: From the sandy beach you can choose between a swimmer and a non-swimmer area. For the little ones there is an extra shallow area for splashing around. And the very well-kept lawn invites you to relax.
