Approximately 600 meters of tunnels and 4 shafts with depths of 10 to 18 meters were excavated and provided with manholes. The underground tours present the heart of the mine with the light and sound installation "Mystallica" such as the cathedral, the underground lake or the machine shaft. Over days, the copper smelter built according to historical models can be visited with a stamping mill, smelting works and machinery.Outside the regular weekly opening hours of the copper mine Düppenweiler (guided tours Fridays to Sundays at 2 pm, 3.30 pm and 5 pm), visits are only possible after prior registration: Tel. 06835/550 or 06832/800011.

The tunnel passage at the Barbarakapelle is also accessible to hikers without a guide, at least during the day. Just go inside.
