The parish church of St. John the Baptist in Donnersdorf belongs to the Diocese of Würzburg. Today's church building dates from the period 1808 to 1811 and is the sixth church building in Donnersdorf. The Kirchgaden are still preserved from the earlier fortified church. The church is a classical hall building with a rectangular chancel. The altars and the pulpit were made by Josef Halbig. The organ comes from the workshop of the Bamberg organ building company Thomas Eichfelder and was consecrated in 2008. It has 24 registers on 2 manuals and pedal.
