Having been a huge Escher fan since my youth, a visit was a must. And I wasn't disappointed: two floors of Escher's works, always nice to see something in person.
The third floor offers an interactive experience with optical illusions, a short documentary, and a multimedia show.

With over 120 prints, Escher in Het Paleis always displays the most famous works and a selection of ever-changing graphics and plane fillings from the oeuvre of Maurits C. Escher (1898-1972). You can enjoy his work here all year round, from his early Italian landscapes to his characteristic plane fillings, his impossible buildings and his world-famous Metamorphoses. This work is displayed in a royal ambiance: the former winter palace of Queen Mother Emma.
