In the middle of the dunes there is a former GDR police camp for ammunition and other things (moz.de/lokales/erkner/schlafplaetze-in-alten-munitionsbunkern-49619938.html, thanks Taximichel for the link ). The storage bunkers are well sealed except for small bat slits.
