The ascent to the Hirschbichl Pass is scenically stunning, but not for the faint-hearted. The route leads to an idyllic lake, where all cars must park. From there, the pass road is open exclusively to cyclists and a regular bus. The asphalt is in excellent condition throughout. Be careful: two sections with gradients of over 20% are challenging even for experienced riders. The route is beautiful, quiet, and car-free – but the technical and physical requirements should not be underestimated.
