Memorial Stone 200 Years of Sovereignty, Gantenstein - Schellenberg
On October 1, 2006, the memorial stone "200 Years of Sovereignty of the Principality of Liechtenstein, 1806 – 2006" was unveiled by the Liechtenstein Hereditary Prince and Princess, HRH Hereditary Prince Alois and HRH Sophie.
The creator of the memorial stone, Eckhard Wollwagen, recalled that stone, unlike humans, is less perishable. Granite forces a slow working method and, as a "stone of stumbling," encourages reflection.
