"From Feldherrnhügel on Morgenhöhe near Rohrdorf, Generalfeldzeugmeister Kray led the Austro-Hungarian troops (45,000 men) in the battle at Meßkirch against the French Army on the Rhine under Division General Moreau (30,000 men) on May 5, 1800. Today there is a memorial here Boards and explanations of the battle. One has a view of the battlefield, which stretched from Menningen to Altheim, Bietingen and Krumbach (36 square kilometers). "
