The beach of Domburg has already received several awards. In 2017, the beach received again (uninterrupted every year since 1990) the international 'Blue Flag' environmental prize. It guarantees a high quality of bathing water and a well-maintained clean beach. In 2015, 2013, 2004 and 2003 Domburg won the title 'Cleanest Beach in the Netherlands'.
