The front of this small church protrudes slightly. The reformed brick church was built in 1689 and was previously made of wood, but without a foundation. Church was restored in 1960. Stones were brought in from an old eighteenth-century farm in the polder. Five long oak trusses from the first medieval church could be used again. The foundation was also thoroughly addressed this time. Concrete piles were placed under the walls, which were placed on the sandy spirit soil through the four-metre-thick layer of peat.

Cycling

After the old wooden church on Middelweg fell into disrepair in 1681, it was decided to build a new church on a higher site. The nave was constructed in 1689, and the bell tower was added in 1712. Oak beams that had already been used in the original church were used in the construction of the new church.
The church was extensively renovated in 1960.
