This multi-part work by artist G.Th. Lieselotte Anschütz-Russwurm was installed in 1989 in the Günther-Klotz-Anlage, a recreational area close to the city in the southwest of Karlsruhe. It consists of an expansive, walkable labyrinth of differently colored paving stones and two sound stones. These are natural boulders, which were carved by sculptors in a reduced form language so that a faint humming can be heard when listening into the openings in appropriate wind conditions. After a long life, the artist passed away on March 16, 2022, in Heidelberg. She was 96 years old.
