The Ice Caves are hidden amongst the cliffs of the famous Dakota Badlands. The caves are a natural cooler that are often iced over through mid-July, and can provide a needed break from the summer heat. If you have the time it's also worth hiking to the top of the cliffs to take in the panoramic views across the Little Missouri National Grassland.
